What this policy covers
This policy covers theskipbutton.co and any direct correspondence with us. It does not cover advertiser websites or landing pages that our advertising links to; those are operated by the advertisers and governed by their own policies.
Information we collect
- Correspondence. If you email us, we hold your address and the content of the exchange so we can reply and keep a record.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request data including IP address, user agent and page requested, retained for a short period for security and reliability.
- Advertising measurement. In campaigns we operate for advertisers, we receive aggregated and pseudonymised performance data: impressions, clicks and confirmed conversions. We do not receive or store names, addresses, payment details or order contents of the people who respond to those campaigns.
Cookies
This website sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Campaign measurement happens in the advertising platforms and tracking systems we use for client work, not on this site.
How we use information
To reply to enquiries, to operate and improve advertising campaigns for advertisers who have engaged us, to meet our accounting and tax obligations, and to keep our systems secure. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it except with the service providers we need to operate — hosting, email, advertising platforms and analytics — or where the law requires it.
Where data is processed
Our hosting, email and advertising platform providers operate internationally, so data may be processed outside Kazakhstan, including in the United States and the European Union.
Your rights
You may ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to max@theskipbutton.co and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or the UK, you also have the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
Children
Our services are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
